Daniel T. Asekome joined the respiratory therapy team at the Rehabilitation
Institute of Michigan in 2004. Known as a positive and professional therapist,
he is highly respected and appreciated by his fellow team members, hospital
staff and patients.

“Daniel is a fantastic respiratory therapist,” a coworker said recently. “He
provides superb customer service and care to every patient and family. He has
such a positive energy. I never see him without a smile.”

Daniel has a pleasant and professional bedside manner and is always a
reassuring presence. When necessary, he spends additional time with
patients and families to provide education about complex respiratory issues.
“He always goes above and beyond. He explains things to patients, families,
nurses and other health care providers.”
