PHIL Award Winner

Tracy Willett, RRT, is a graduate of Ferris State University. She has
been a Respiratory Therapist at Spectrum Health for 23 years.
Tracy works in the Adult and Neonatal/Pediatric areas doing patient
education and discharge planning. Quite often Tracy volunteers to
help transport vent dependent patients upon discharge back to
their homes.
When asked what she like best about being a Respiratory
Therapist, Tracy states "I love taking care of my patients; it make
me feel satisfied when I can help them in their time of need. I also
enjoy interacting with my peers and other health care
professionals."
The patient who nominated Tracy attended the award presentation
with his wife. Robert and Mary Symon had this to say about their
experience with Tracy, "I readily recognize Tracy as an outstanding
and caring respiratory therapist and person... She has so much
concern for her patients and concern for the family."
